I spotted Misty at the Madeira Art Show this past Sunday.
She was sticking close to her human parents.
Misty is such a pretty girl...and I loved the lavender bandana around her neck....I could tell how much she is loved.
I struck up a conversation with her human dad, and he said that Misty is an Australian Shepherd who they rescued from a shelter. She is 6 years old. I could tell she was a little nervous, so I got down on her level to meet her. She was so precious and sweet....gentle.
They said, "She's shy in crowds, but a bullet at home." haha And you can see in the photo...from Misty's point of view, crowds can be intimidating to dogs.
I love all these stories of dogs being rescued. The majority of people I have spoken with have rescued dogs and they are so happy.
The Madeira Art Show was hopping with dogs and I have many more meet and greets to come in the next few weeks.
Madeira is a quaint little town on the East side of Cincinnati.
A train track runs right through the heart of downtown giving a nostalgic feel to the area. It is a great place to shop and eat and spend a day.
